Background
Folgate Street – A narrow London back street for this project that involved the upgrading of the external façade of a building that was dated in appearance and showing signs of dilapidation.
Detail of works by Stone Restoration Services
Pre-cast stone cladding units were chosen – the material spanned the distance between the existing structural supports. This necessitated each of the main fascia panels being over 5 metres long. These units were to be supported on structural steel support beams tied to the original building. The obvious logistic problems of undertaking the delivery and placement of such large panels in such a tight location did not prove an obstacle due to the intricate pre-planning demonstrated by SRS Ltd and the contract team.
Work carried out:

- Installation of Pre-cast Stone Cladding
