Stone Restoration Services Ltd since 1958
The management and staff of Stone Restoration Services Ltd, name changed in 1998, have accumulated years of experience dealing with restoration and conservation of some of the South of England’s most well known and prestigious Historic Buildings, structures, churches and monuments.
Our masonry yard and sawing set up is ideally located to provide a production base able to offer a perfect back up for larger projects and capable of fulfilling the requirements of all stone, marble and granite contracts. Our premises allow for large storage areas where new or salvaged masonry can be retained safely for clients on either a long or short term basis.
The majority of our masons have worked with us for many years and the quality of their skills are evident on numerous schemes in which we have all been involved.
We hold a major position of strength over our rivals in that all drawings and design works are undertaken in-house. This means that project conception phase is controlled directly by us and therefore receives the utmost attention to detail. We do not allow this critical stage to be sub-let to external sources.
We also specialise in brickwork repairs including in-situ restoration, the replacement of gauged arches and tuck-pointing. We have invested greatly into all aspects of the care and refurbishment of stone, marble and granite including the re-texturing of paved surfaces to restore non-slip finishes in line with Health & Safety requirements.
